Poker Hand Rankings

There are different styles of poker played all over the world. The one rule they all have in common are the poker hand rankings. A Royal Flush is the ultimate hand in poker and a Pair is the lowest ranked hand that a player can receive.

Royal Flush

Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten of the same suit.

Straight Flush

Any numerical sequence of cards of the same suit.

Four of a Kind

Any four cards of the same rank.

Full House

Any three of the same rank plus any two of the same rank.

Flush

Any five cards of the same suit with no rank sequence.

Straight

Any five cards of sequential rank and unmatched suit.

Three of a Kind

Any three cards of the same rank.

Two Pair

Any two cards of the same rank plus any other two of the same rank.

One Pair

Any two cards of the same rank.
